Confession time- I have never made Porridge Fingers before today. I have been meaning to for ages but I've never got round to it before. I took the basic recipe from the BLW book and did some experimenting. I will share the method and results below. This makes up three batches and each batch makes about 4-5 fingers.
Recipe for a Trio of Porridge Fingers
Banana Porridge Fingers
Raisin Porridge Fingers
Berry Porridge Fingers
* Originally I cooked this with the raisins and it was fine but I made it again today and the raisins burnt and tasted bitter and ruined it basically. I'm not sure why because I didn't do anything different that I know of so I've changed it to adding the raisins after it's cooked.
My children have informed me that the raisin ones were their favorites but they all vanished pretty quickly. In terms of cutting up I found the berry ones to be the least solid and the banana ones to cut up the best.
