Mats
Did I mention that BLW can get a bit messy? If that bothers you- or you've got flooring that isn't easy to clean you might want to invest in a wipe clean mat. This is also handy as it allows you to pick up any dropped food and give it back to your baby.
Cups
Babies do not need any other drink if they are breastfed but when you start weaning on to solid food you may wish to offer water with your baby's meal. From 6 months it is recommended that you offer all drinks in cups rather than bottles. It is now advised that babies drink from free flow cups as they are better for baby's dental health and speech development.

Cooking Equipment
You may find it helpful in the early days to steam fruit and hard veg. Also steaming is just the best way to cook veg to keep all the nutrients in them so this could be a good investment. The other major recommendation I got was a crinkle cutter- this makes slippy fruit and veg easy for your baby to grip. A BLW must-have!
Table Mats
These are great to help keep your table clean and are especially useful for when your eating out as you can just put any food straight onto them and don't have to use restaurant plates which are usually ceramic. I know the first two mats I've featured are the same but after doing much research this seems to be the only one people are recommending- and it has a lip to catch spilled food in. Perfect! The last one is a suction mat to stop your little one from throwing their bowl around.
